Laid Out showed up and showed out with their debut EP.

Forged in South Carolina, Laid Out is showing us that hardcore comes from anyone, anywhere. Their debut EP, Sounds of Purgatory, shows us a well-rehearsed band that many may not have heard of before, but now’s the time to say you found them first. Vocalist, David Glover, displays talent and range, backed by two guitarists who absolutely shred, Coley Higdon and Zared Hardin, and kept in a steady, heavy rhythm by bassist, Matthew Perry, and drummer, Thisal Yatiyawela. “The immense feeling of dropping our first EP together as a band has been absolutely blissful. The amount of love and support we’ve gotten since then has meant the absolute world to us,” Yatiyawela said. “We wanted to make music for all the moshers, all the 2-steppers, all the swing dancers, and all the fans to go absolutely ballistic over what we’ve produced.” Catch them November 19th, playing Klean Exhibition, a car show in Greenville, SC. That’s a new one for us honestly, but we 100% support it. The boys plan to be hitting some surrounding states very soon so definitely watch for them to come through your city.
