Ohio native, Ryan Mundy, soft launched his country music career in 2016 with Nashville writers round and dove into his own shows early in 2017. Two years later he showed the world his personal sound with his first single, Sounds of Our Hometown. Mundy describes his music as “feel-good country” with inspiration from all over. “My playlist goes from Paramore to Post Malone in two seconds,” said Ryan. Mundy released his latest single, Payin’ My Dues, along with the music video shot and edited by Chris Rippy. “Its’s a reminder, a song that’s like, hey, you’re paying your dues. Keep going. It’ll pay off,” he says, “right before you’re about to quit, something great will happen.” Ryan took to Instagram and started a series of the same name showing a behind the scenes look into what goes on as an artist working their way up the ladder. With a few shows closing out the year, Mundy is planning to hit the studio fresh in the beginning of the new year with plenty of new music.
