Judy's Mission

The Judybats and Ethereal Mission's worlds collide on the track The Wrath of Mercury! Judy’s Mission happened when Ethereal Mission joined forces with Jeff Heiskell, Johnny Sughrue, and Ed Winters of The Judybats and decided one evening was plenty of time to write a little Knoxville music history. “The Wrath of Mercury” was recorded and mixed in a single night at The Underground with Matt Lincoln engineering, then found its way onto local and regional college radio. Mercury may have been wrathful, but the session was productive. Jeff Heiskell handles vocals, Johnny Sughrue on acoustic guitar and Ed Winters on electric guitar, alongside Ethereal Mission’s Steve Britton on bass, Kevin Miller on electric guitar, Rick Tipton on keyboards, and Joel Stooksbury on drums. One night, seven musicians, and a Roman god with something to get off his chest.
